Why The Brand Wall

A hand-curated pixel mosaic of indie brands from the countries most galleries skip.

You can share this page cold. It explains what The Brand Wall is, why we built it, how to put a brand on it, and where it fits in a small set of tools we run for underrepresented founder regions.

The 30-second version

The Brand Wall is a single-page gallery of 124 indie brands across 11countries, displayed as a pixel mosaic — every block is a real company and every path through the grid is a country. Georgia is featured first because most directories of “cool indie brands” never get to the Caucasus; we wanted one that starts there and works outward.

How to use it

  1. Open the wall. The grid loads with every brand at once — there is no infinite scroll, no feed, no account.
  2. Filter by country, by one of 11categories (Food & Bev, Fashion, Tech, Wellness, Home, Beauty, Art, Music, Sports, Pets, Gaming), or type into the search box.
  3. Click any pixel to open the brand detail: one-line pitch, year founded, tier, and a link out to the brand's site. The URL updates so you can paste it as a deep link.
  4. Country pages have their own canonical URLs (`/georgia/spribe`, `/?country=georgia`) and Open Graph cards, so a link to a single brand or a single country previews cleanly on Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Twitter.

How to put a brand on it

Use the submit page. Name, URL, one-line pitch, country, category, your email. Takes about thirty seconds. There is no account and no paywall. We review by hand, weekly, and you hear back within seven days with one of three outcomes: live on the wall, held for follow-up, or not a fit.

Approval is a manual commit to src/data/brands.ts — the source of truth lives in git, reviewable by humans, no database to drift. If you ever want off the wall you can request removal and we process verified requests within seven business days.

What it is not

  • Not a brand generator. We do not create logos, palettes, or kits. The wall collects, vets, and showcases brands that already exist.
  • Not a directory you pay to be on. Submissions are free. Removal is free. There is no featured tier you can buy.
  • Not a feed. The grid is finite and curated. You see every brand on one page, which is the point — that is what makes it a wall and not a scroll.

Why Georgia first

Georgia is one of 11 countries on the wall, but it is the only one marked featured. 24+ Georgian brands are already indexed — from Spribe (the Tbilisi-born studio behind Aviator, the world's #1 crash game) to Binekhi and Shumi (qvevri wineries running on traditions that predate most of the other countries on the wall by several thousand years). Tbilisi's tech ecosystem raised a record $180M in VC in 2024 and most of the indie-brand internet still has not noticed. The site ships in 2 languages — English and Georgian — so founders in either language can submit and explore without switching tabs.

Where it fits in the bigger picture

The Brand Wall is one node in a small set of tools we run for founders in emerging and frontier markets. The others, if useful to you:

  • Startup Atlas — turns a paragraph about your startup into a credible investment memo in about 90 seconds. Free. Useful if you are a founder on the wall trying to raise.
  • 90-Day Accel — a 90-day execution program for founders who want a structured push toward a fundable milestone.
  • RoundReady — fundraising prep: data room hygiene, investor list hygiene, and the boring-but-critical pieces most founders skip before opening a round.
  • Emerge Tech — the umbrella site for ecosystem write-ups, the idea archive, and the public directory of the platforms above.

Who built this and why

Most curated brand galleries are written from New York, London, or Los Angeles and quietly act like the rest of the world is not building anything worth showing. The Brand Wall is the same format — a single, dense, gallery-style page — with the geographic default flipped. Featured country first, global brands second, and a submit form anyone can use.

It is intentionally small. No database, no login, no recommender, no infinite feed. One page, every brand, updated by hand. If you want to send The Brand Wall to a founder, a journalist, or someone in your ecosystem — this URL is the one to use.

This page is the canonical share-link for The Brand Wall. The numbers above (brand count, country count, category count, Georgian brand count, locale count) are read at build time from the live codebase, so they stay honest as the wall grows. Visit brandwall.online to explore the grid, or submit a brand to put one on it.
